stuck not knowing

im at point in my life now where i feel im gona be alone for the reat of my life, im almost 37 years old and i have no confidence at all to meet someone new, should i just give up and get used to the fact its just me or cling on to the hope i can meet someone one day

@Wiseacre thanks, i try not too, ive been nust used in the last couple lf relatioships amd it seems that being a nice giving person just ends up in me being hurt
