Am I wrong for this ?

So I met this guy online and from the start he kept sending me pictures of his cooking and stating that he wants to cook for me. We went out once and he keeps insisting that I come over for dinner and I told him once I get to know him better that it may be a possibility. Fast forward to the second tome he’s still insisting about cooking dinner, told him I’d rather go somewhere public he literally cops an attitude about it. Now I don’t want to even go out on this date, am I wrong for feeling like he has bad intentions?

You have to make that decision for yourself.. In the end you have to do your best to ensure your own safety.. He should respect your wishes.. But at the same time it is understandable that a decent man would feel greatly offended knowing a woman thinks of him as being some kind of rapist..

@Adstar actually I don't think that is entirely true...greatly offended, no one I have encountered has been offended by my need for self protection, they have been understanding.

@Caliginous Well now you may have met a person who holds himself in high regard and is offended by the thought that a woman would consider him as a sex offender..

If i was in a similar situation i would end the relationship with the woman.. I would probably have waited for the 3rd or 4th date to have dinner with the woman but if she still refused by that time i would end it then and there..

@Adstar says more about you than the woman

@Caliginous I am an innocent man.. And i will not tolerate being looked down upon by a woman unjustly as some dirty sex offender.. If you consider that a fault then thats says more about you then me..

@Adstar if a woman didnt want to come to my house for food when they dont really know me my first thought isn't "oh she thinks I'm a rapist" I just accept that she is not ready.

@Adstar No it doesn't, in fact it says more about you. How is she supposed to know you're to be trusted. On your say so only? I don't think so! Sheesh!

@Zoranna I said after 4 dates.... If a woman still thinks i am some kind of creepy sex offender after 4 dates then that would justifiably offend me.. If woman still cannot trust a guy after 2 dates then she should politely end the relationship right there and then..

@Caliginous lol, some people can only see things from their own perspective regardless of how you point out another. I think you were smart to give up lol

@nowic2 yeah I thought so too 🤗

@Caliginous otherwise you would have ended up with a headache. You don't need that. 🤗

@nowic2 not when I have had one all day!

@Caliginous I can see the others perspective.. But it is not my perspective.. I came to give my perspective.. She did ask for comment on the issue.. To assume your perspective needs to be enforced upon me is narcissistic.. I am not here to enforce my perspective on Angelwithbrokenwingsxo.. I actually started out with saying that she was responsible for her own safety.. Which was saying it is her decision in the end..

@Caliginous oh, sorry to hear that. Hope it goes soon. Do you get them often?

@nowic2 sadly yes, it's usually stress related, but thank you I will be just fine 😊
