@Nak25 It can be, based on the story behind it. She left her home and people but she did it to be with the one she loved. So yes, there is a sadness in there and you can hear it.

@MrPerditus1 idk the story behind it, but it just so out of this world . Unrealistic which is very wrong. Things are great when they are simple

@Nak25 Very true. But things like this song and story behind it can change the outlook. As you said, you don't know the story so the sadness is in the forefront, but there is more as I pointed out that she gave up one life for another. Gave up immortality without the one she loves to be mortal with him and he with her. It's a beautiful love story with twinges of reality that point out sometimes to get something you want so bad, you have to give up something else.

But that's how I see it. Doesn't make me right or wrong for anyone else, just right for me. :)

I'd suggest either reading the novels or checking out the movies. There are stories within stories in it. Sadness and joys. Though again, not for everyone.
