Do females feel a need to feel beautiful?

Do you think that for females beauty is built so much into our identity that there is a genuine need for this to be validated amongst most women in order for them to feel high self worth? Validation thru attention, online views, stares, jealousy from other females, jobs where looks are important, boyfriends, husbands and just in life in general. Are women subtly and overtly seeking validation of our looks from everyone more so than men do?

@TryingtoLava It does because beauty is treated differently in men than women and judged differently and given different importance.
@REMsleep everybody wants validation

@TryingtoLava If I only had money. I'd buy suits and have many of them tailored.

@REMsleep I wonder if buying classy and sports cars is a sort of an indirect way for some men to look good. Some sure spend a lot of time into such things, they are expensive too.
