I’m going to celebrate my 18th birthday during lockdown

It does. Had my 44th in lockdown, and I live on me own. Can only imagine how shite your 18th might be. But just think it can only get better and next year you'll have to celebrate twice as hard, really plan and save and have the birthday of a lifetime. Though I cooked a stir fry, cheesecake and got drunk and watched The Young Ones (the comedy program not the film) so it weren't too bad. Have had to do a night shift loading lorries before because I couldn't get the night off on me birthday. That *was* shit.

@ChloeYoung thing is as I was working nights I couldn't celebrate properly in the day as I couldn't go to work out of it, though I did get to see me family and when I got out of work I did get nicely stoned (I was a *lot * younger). But I hope you do get to enjoy your big day somehow and make up for it big style next year, and remember you've got some other milestones on the horizon, your 20th and 21st

@Nomoretomorrow Getting stoned, hmmmm 🤔 lol. I’m not really complaining I’m just a little disappointed. I think turning 18 is a bigger milestone than turning 21 because here it when you can get your license and go to bars and clubs, not that I was doing that before 😏
