This is the little creek behind my home, it’s gone down by about a meter since lunchtime today We got about 70 mm or 3 inches of rain today which is heaps for here. Everything looks so clean and pretty. We started splashing each other on the bank of the lake just around the bend from here and next thing you know we’ve gone for a swim 🙂
Brings back memories of my youth, springtime, the creeks and river and ponds swollen, the air warm... and the temptation to splash around after a long cold winter too great to resist.
@GentleJoe That sounds like fun memories. We had lots of fun until we had to walk home in our wet clothes hahaha, that was cold. But now that we’re warm and dry it was really nice to have dinner on the back porch watching the water flow past 🙂
@ChloeYoung I don't recall ever considering the consequences of doing it. lol. The cold walk back home was the distant future.. and it didn't deter us from doing again the next day!
I love this whether too. The creek doesn’t look so little now, and it does look pretty, lol. I bet you were having fun, 😄 what ever you do, don’t get washed away.
