I'm going to jump out of a plane one of these days (with a parachute). Any advice?

There must be some sky divers out there. I have a friend who recommended a jump school in Lace Elsinore, CA. Anyone know anything about this?

Prior to becoming sane, I did training using a static line attached to the plane that opened the chute. Way more fun than tandems but I don't think they do static anymore.
