When u were in middle school, were you ever shamed of the person you had a crush on?

I did once. Because we were both getting picked on and us being seen together as a couple would amplify the bullying. It did.

I wasn't ever ashamed but in retrospect I probably should have been.

At least they grew out of the assholery once Jackass stopped being a thing.
