How to participatein heated loud discussions as an introvert?

Hi, I'm a really introverted person and I often find myself especially quiet when in a group where everyone talks loudly and there's a heated discussion. How to learn to become part of it?

Do you really want to be part of it... They'll always do it better than you... That's not a reflection on you, but on them... Sometimes talking softly can work as they may shut up to listen.... But no guarantees
