How to participatein heated loud discussions as an introvert?

Hi, I'm a really introverted person and I often find myself especially quiet when in a group where everyone talks loudly and there's a heated discussion. How to learn to become part of it?

I don't engage in discussions that are loud and heated, folks who are like that aren't capable of being objective and not really very intelligent.
