Do you ever find yourself having a conversation with your dog, when you are home alone?

I do! So I was wondering if this is common or am I losing it?

When I had a dog I would tell him all about my day and even ask how his day was!!
I think talking to our animals is normal, if there is suck a thing as ‘normal’
