Do you think having a 'game night' at a mall is cheesy?

Like at the food court or something?
I started a meetup group in real life.
I like games, but I'm not inviting folk to my house, and I don't want to have that like at a restaurant and look all weird.
I live under a rock so I don't know much.
Do you think that's weird or looks stupid to be playing games in a group at a mall food court??

Again, I want to keep it public...

You're talking about board games, right?

Don't think it's necessarily cheesy, but it is highly dependent on the establishment. If the food court is a place with high customer density, it might not be very popular. And I'd imagine, outside of seating reserved for eating establishments, a lot of malls mostly have benches rather than a good setup with tables for playing games.

I haven't had the chance myself, but some people I knew a while back would go to the pub and play board games (like Munchkin) there. Decent seating, tables, customers usually stay for quite a while anyway so it doesn't occupy valuable customer space for the owners, and access to beer and such.

@PirateMonkeyCabinet Yes, board games. My plan was to eat while playing games. Or eat first, then play.
