Why do believers feel threatened by non believers?

This is not a discussion on religion vs atheism or a hate post. I don't have hate for them but they're actually taught that non religious people are just bad. They just treat us same or even worse than they do for murderers and rapists. I am struggling so bad because I am surrounded by Christians and it's hard to make them understand just because I lack faith doesn't mean I am a bad person.

Its not easy to be the odd one out in a group.. So it may be a good idea to withdraw or have some flags ..

The problem with Believers are that they have problems in rationalising and learning. But they are so afraid that they seek ratification quite often since they don't want the non-believer to achieve something that they can't.. So they constantly debase and demoralize the nonbelievers..

What else to expect from a beleiver.. you just proved you are one with your absurdity... you do not know what debasing means and in what context I used it .. and you jump to defend yourself saying that any statement is debasing..

@in10RjFox I am not threatened by you, but again, Hello pot. Meet kettle. I am not defending myself nor do I feel any need to defend myself against someone who is unable to see that their own statement (including your reply) is nothing more than pure vitriol.

@goliathtree this is exactly what @Jbird is trying to convey through her question. Nobody asked if you are a beleiver or nonbeliever... but you yourself butted in since you are a beleiver feeling a threat from others and now lamenting your uncalled for defence.. and attack by trying to debase and belittle, but unable to make a point.

So you have proved that you just can't resist others talking about you beleivers..
