Why do believers feel threatened by non believers?

This is not a discussion on religion vs atheism or a hate post. I don't have hate for them but they're actually taught that non religious people are just bad. They just treat us same or even worse than they do for murderers and rapists. I am struggling so bad because I am surrounded by Christians and it's hard to make them understand just because I lack faith doesn't mean I am a bad person.

@chrisCA Non believers don't know science or logic. Science and logic are on the side of Believers. Non believers are too often in the cult of scientism.
