Why do believers feel threatened by non believers?

This is not a discussion on religion vs atheism or a hate post. I don't have hate for them but they're actually taught that non religious people are just bad. They just treat us same or even worse than they do for murderers and rapists. I am struggling so bad because I am surrounded by Christians and it's hard to make them understand just because I lack faith doesn't mean I am a bad person.

I don't think believers think non belivers are bad. Everybody sins...

@iamnikki you can see it with hippie joe and similar xtian. Even though they are the dominant sect in the U.S., they are persistently abusive towards non-believers. I'm out at work about bring bi but not about my atheism. Xtian bigotry is that bad

@GoldenWorm You sound like someone whom the Spirit it goading. Too funny. Most of the discussions I get into are not about Christianity or the like. When someone tries to support atheism or materialism I poke fun at them for their foolish unscientific ways. People like you seem to have a problem with that. Must be the Spirit goading your conscience telling you that I am right and you are wrong.

@hippyjoe1955 uh no. From experience, people like you are bullies or worse in the work place. Staying in the closet protects my employment.

The lies you tell are to make you feel good. Not reality.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@GoldenWorm Must be looking in the mirror. I find it exactly the opposite. You are the bully and try to impose your belief system on me.
GoldenWorm · 51-55, M
If you're hearing that you're a bully from many people, that's a sign you're not living up to the light of Christ you are called to.

My "system of belief" means not firing people for who they love or what strange non-workplace beliefs they have.

@GoldenWorm Yawn. That old rhubarb again. If I am being called all kinds of names I am being faithful to my Savior. They said all kinds of evil against Him too.

@hippyjoe1955 you should read your bible more and seek the last word less
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@GoldenWorm You should try reading the Bible more. You might learn something. As it is you are blind and an object of great mirth to me.

@hippyjoe1955 if you read Bible, explain this.

@JBird Your link doesn't work but why would I look at that nonsense. The errors are not errors. Stupid people simply don't grasp it.
JBird · F
@hippyjoe1955 it's not a link. The comment section don't support link text. You have to paste it into a browser address bar in order to open. You haven't read it already. Why do you always have to judge something you haven't even looked upon? Oh wait, that's Christianity. 😅😅😅
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@JBird I have been dealing with 'errors' in the bible likely longer than you have been able to read or write. Did you know that the Bible says Judas hanged himself in one place and that he fell to his death off a cliff in another? That is not an error since both are true.
JBird · F
@hippyjoe1955 Judas hanged himself and then jumped out to cliff? 😅😅 I mean scientific errors. Starting with creation of universe and the judgement day.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@JBird He chose a tree that was on the side of a cliff. He hanged himself but the branch broke and he fell down the cliff.

@hippyjoe1955 #justso.
