Why do believers feel threatened by non believers?

This is not a discussion on religion vs atheism or a hate post. I don't have hate for them but they're actually taught that non religious people are just bad. They just treat us same or even worse than they do for murderers and rapists. I am struggling so bad because I am surrounded by Christians and it's hard to make them understand just because I lack faith doesn't mean I am a bad person.

I just feel a little sorry for them because they do not understand what they are missing. Never threatened. If anything it has been the other way around - somehow my faith has been threatening to some atheists I have known.

@GoodoldBob why is your faith threatened? I lived my life in a Christian family. I don't feel wavered towards faith. I only want to live with them peacefully

@JBird My faith is not threatened. You did not read my post. Some atheists I have known seemed somehow threatened by my faith and as to why ... ask an atheist not me.

@GoodoldBob I am being negative. As an agnostic, I feel threatened by religious people not of what I believe but of my life and well being because they bully us.
