No climbing up things you can't climb back down. 🙄
No driving on the interstate and definitely not sneaking off to Atlanta or the beach for a weekend before you're 18. 🙄🙄
We had to "pay bills" with our allowance. So dad would hand us like $100 in small bills but would charge us for rent, utilities, and entertainment. We might get to pocket like $10 for ourselves when it was all said and done.
Looking back, I don't think they were all that absurd.

@SwampFlower my parents did that to teach us about saving money. It worked too

@SwampFlower The allowance thing is super interesting. My parents paid almost everything, but they said I should pay for gasoline just so I'd get a sense for paying bills.
