What was an absurd rule you had to follow when you were growing up?
No bikinis until junior high.

@HootyTheNightOwl I can't imagine going half the day as a kid, just staring at my gifts. No biggie as an adult, I'd just sleep in till 11.
@dragonfly46 It wasn't so bad as a young child... as i got older and mum's health declined, i found that i wanted to help her more over Christmas, though - but i still had to abide by her bf's rules and strict upbringing.
