How do people see you differently than you see yourself?

people see me as a positive go getter who’s always happy and confident but i’m really none of those things

How can anyone really answer this?

They tell me I'm pretty and that I should wear something that'll bring out my beauty even more but they can't understand I'm like this because I already know I'm pretty and that it all doesn't matter to me as much it matters to them...

They see me as a calm and collected individual

I am freaking out internally usually

They hardly have to see me but I have to live with myself.

They don’t see the insecurity behind the smile

People see me as very serious. Friends know I laugh the loudest.

I stay to myself, so some might think I'm rude.

How could I know? They didn't tell me.

I wish I had some insight. But all I can tell is that my own self-image is almost certainly very different.
