4 hours because of a newborn is not a choice, if you don't respond then you don't get sleep [u]EVER[/u]. Anything you have to do for college is a choice. College isn't going to be screaming at the top of it's lungs if you sleep for an extra hour or watch 15 more minutes of YouTube. The 2 methods of losing sleep are not similar at all.
