there i said it, they are stupid. fancy lights in the sky might have been entertaining 100 years ago... but now they are just loud and smell like sulfur and are as exiting as someone with a laserpointer.

I mostly agree. I'm glad that I live in the hills where fireworks are prohibited. But we can still see some of the big displays from the valley.
