Would you feel unsafe if you saw someone lurking around your house?
I called and reported suspicious activity. No reason for you to be lurking around my house.

Never happen here, the gun laws in my city strongly discourage "lurking". Few willing to test if the home owner has a weapon and ammunition as required I think.
Safest house I've ever lived. Now at work have called and been assisted by police. In the environment today, never doubt your gut to call help. Better the cops find nothing then come up later to a crime scene.
