Has your house ever been broken into while you're there?

It happened to me once and the guy threatened me with a fork. I was a weeee bit drunk so didn't quite register what was happening and just said "This is the kitchen" like I was giving him a house tour. He took some money that was lying around and bizarrely a hedge trimmer battery that was charging.

That would be really scary, especially knowing he was into hedge trimming that much. How did he manage to break in?

@gxrmlaith Gosh, he was really brave or crazy though, what if you'd had a gun or someone else with you? Makes me think about my home security now.

@SW-User He wasn't really crazy, just a desperate chancer looking for money.
