Something you miss from other places in the world?

Anytime i'm around or below the equator is always notice how many stars are in the sky, more than i see around here..

Used to be able to see the stars much better on the farm. It was so dark at night when going to sleep that I couldn’t see my hand in front of my face unless there was a full moon and no clouds.
