Has a child you don’t know ever mistaken you for their mom or dad?

[c=#BF0080]I took my son to his appointment and as soon as I walked in a really cute little girl about my youngest’s age(3-4) ran to me saying “hi mommy” and grabbed my hand 😳 I figured it was just that the mom prob had long dark hair too. But the whole time I was there she was talking to me and calling me mommy and mama even though I told her I wasn’t her mom 😐 I think she was with her grandma, but she didn’t speak English. I was really surprised the child thought I was her mom, b/c she was Asian and I’m not.

Has anything like that happened to you? [/c]

Not like that. Only accidental mis-identity. Once I was in a store and a little girl was looking around not paying attention to where she was walking when I was walking by her she reached back looking for her mom and grabbed my hand. Then she looked up in horror realizing her mistake and quickly dropped her had and ran to her mom. 😆
