Has a child you don’t know ever mistaken you for their mom or dad?

[c=#BF0080]I took my son to his appointment and as soon as I walked in a really cute little girl about my youngest’s age(3-4) ran to me saying “hi mommy” and grabbed my hand 😳 I figured it was just that the mom prob had long dark hair too. But the whole time I was there she was talking to me and calling me mommy and mama even though I told her I wasn’t her mom 😐 I think she was with her grandma, but she didn’t speak English. I was really surprised the child thought I was her mom, b/c she was Asian and I’m not.

Has anything like that happened to you? [/c]

Nah but I do have a little cousin who has a tendency of calling me daddy. His dad dark skin and I'm light skin so I don't understand why he doesn't get it. Little weird fella

@11knaves11 [c=#BF0080]Awh.. Maybe it’s just a masculinity thing he feels that’s similiar. [/c]
