Why is it that most women even when proved wrong will not admit to being wrong

Is it just me and most of the women I have ever met or is it a pig headed trait built into women that they have always got to be right even when proved wrong .They also seem to enjoy arguing the bloody point even though they know their wrong it does my head in .

@SaulGoodman It stresses me out I hate arguing and don't open my mouth unless I am fairly sure I am right because other wise you just make your self look a fool jeez
