I avoid hard alcohol because I drink too deeply. I like beer but I have learned to drink it without getting noticeably drunk , and take plenty of 'days off' from it. Hard drinking is just self inflicted punishment for me these days.

@quietfighter I have a long history of alcoholism, but for quite some time now, I've managed to drink in moderation and not every day. Experts say that's impossible for an alcoholic. I am considering that I might not be an "alcoholic" per se, but just an idiot who is inclined to over-do anything. 🤔

Hey, like me, I just want to do better. Take a good look at yourself. Even if you don't like it, you gotta keep going. That's what I experienced. Now, I am happy. Drinking for fun and not self hurt. I have people to live for. Well, coming from me anyway. You can do it. Whatever it is you wanna do.
