no I was certified as a life saving EMT
We were not actually called that ,,we had to do a lot more in the field ,dealing with severed limbs ,burn victims ,drowning
rescues at sea ...we were just called the US Coast Guard
But after service I kept my first aid and CPR cards up to date
I traveled a lot ,,always seemed to be first on scene of a wreck ,,I did what I could until the Emt's showed up
I grew up in Hospitals ,,My Mom and My Kids are nurses (mom has passed )
I have been told I wasted my calling ,,I should have been a Doctor
