I don't know, as an outsider, but aren't there too many Democrats running for election?

There were too many. With no clear favorite too many thought what the hell I might have a chance. After Iowa and New Hampshire the field will shrink to manageable levels

@monte3 Yes, I wrote that question almost a year ago now. My first real interest in the US political system all because of the shock I felt at who became President. Cheers.

@Zoranna I have to get better at checking how fresh the original post is. But there are still too many candidates, but that will change after Iowa.
