Can I legally sue a person for misgendering me?

I am Wardengender.

This means that I identify as the Warden from Superjail (an Adult Swim cartoon), and write this every time I sign a medical check.

I write this every time I sign a medical check in the gender box. The fact I am not a prison warden yet causes gender dysphoria but I recently bought myself one of those extendable stick batons and a purple top hat so that I can feel more comfortable in my own body. Right now I'm trying to find a pink cumberbund and I've ordered some books on programming, criminal justice, and robotics so I can prepare myself to build Jailbot 2.0. I have an annoying dog that I named Jared. Whenever I feel upset and sad, I binge-watch Orange Is The New Black and Arrested Development.

Recently some guy in a store commented on me and asked if I was roleplaying/cosplaying. Snidely, I said I wasn't, and to not call me ''he'' or ''him'' but ''sir'' or ''Warden'' as those are my pronouns and that I am the Warden of Superjail. He asked to see my corrections facility badge, and that's when he kept misgendering me and calling me an attention seeker. At that moment I really wished I had Jailbot to deal with that criminal.

People need to understand that gender is a social construct and that this is who I really am inside, and now I'm wondering if I should sue that guy because he wouldn't use my pronouns. What's worse is this guy claimed his son is a transman and that me being Wardengender is somehow mocking trans people but I love Alice and she's trans!

I mean it's 2019 now, Wardengender is just one of the 100000 genders. Humanity needs to progress ffs. Humanity NEEDS Superjail!
