How do you rate yourself on a Patience scale of 1 to 10 ,10 being the highest ?

@MasterofNone I know that you have practiced alot to reach this stage

@SimplyLogicalDiscipline I think it was more of a desire to attain that state than practice and then accidentally one day I discovered how to easily control my mind.

@SimplyLogicalDiscipline I was depressed and I thought the way out was understanding my mind so read a lot of personality types. That didn't work so I had to switch to a spirituality website which I stumbled upon accidentally. Then I joined some spirituality forums where someone recommended me the power of now. All of this was three years ago.

Then after reading some parts of power of now I practised it. It worked. I observed my mind as a separate observer. It was a brief glimpse.

Then I started meditating and one Buddha experience one day accidentally and I started laughing and body started swaying uncontrollably. That was the first awakening and similar types of things kept happening.

Then all of this became distant memory when I started living according to my old patterns. Again got depressed last year so got back to spirituality again and this time it was easier to get back to relaxed state of mind because I have had experiences on how to get there.

@MasterofNone thank you for sharing your experience, if you don't mind I would want to know the reason behind your depression

@SimplyLogicalDiscipline Existential crisis (life is meaningless) and loneliness were the causes.

@MasterofNone life is indeed meaningless, at the end of the day everyone is lonely :)
