Can you really die of a broken heart??

Yes. Not in a direct way but I have seen the will to live fade from many older folks when their spouse dies. Soon after they die as well.

Yes. Stress, anxiety and emotional experiences cause physiological changes in the body.
Yes but not directly. People tend to stop eating and caring for themselves.

There's a condition called Broken Heart Syndrome that can come around after extreme emotional trauma, where tendons in the heart actually break. I haven't heard of it being a specific cause of someone's death, though.

Not someone your age...no....you don't die of a broken heart because your 1 or 2 year relationship ended. That is reserved for people who've been with/loving each other for decades and one dies
I believe so. Sometimes stress and sadness can make us sick. Though I do think death as a cause is rare.

I know several youngish people who have died within a month of their significant other
I think with a secondary infection, sort of.
