Why is it so hard to talk to girls my age?

They always seem so bitchy to me but I don't have a problem talking to this one lady from the shops who's probably in her 40's. She just asked me what I was doing for Christmas. I guess she must like me 😊 I'm about to give up on girls my age and declare myself as a cougar chasers XD

Tbh I feel the same about alot of boys and girls my age to. It's like kindness was taken out for our generations everyone is mean and a bully or guarded and snobby. I was taught to be nice to everyone but lately is exhausting. And i already gave up on guys my age lmao
