Have you ever been to a funeral, before?

I've been to two and I can't put in words just how sad and depressing the event is.

Only once and while it was sunny for the whole week. It started to rain when we left the mourning house (I can't find how it's called in English - a building in the cemetery area where the deceased are held before they are buried) and the coffin was carried to the grave.

Strangely, it wasn't as depressing as I thought it would be. Just sad. Depressing moments come when it's all over, people go home and you have time to think about it all.
