What do you think about "little White Lies"?

Lying to those you care about for their own sake? For the greater good? Or for your own selfish reasons? What are your thoughts on those "Little white lies" we tell time from time.

Lies no matter what they are called, are but lies. It's disheartening being lied to, for whatever reason. It takes away the trust in relationships. And once that trust is broken, it cannot be undone.
