If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?

[big][c=#BF6900]Basically, what makes you happy?[/c][/big]

Something where I was surrounded by music.

@SW-User I can see that making you very happy. I hope you get it.
@SW-User Bam, would you like cooking for people ? Didn’t you do that briefly, or am I “mis-remembering” ?
SW-User
@Fungirlmmm That'll have to be my retirement job after I'm done paying for everybody's everything. Unfortunately, universities don't accept happiness as payment yet. I used to work in a record store, so I could see opening up a small one in several years.

@bijouxbroussard That would be another possibility, because I do love cooking and baking. You remember correctly. I still bake my own bread. I would be quite happy running some sort of bistro/bakery with a music theme, of course. 🙂

@SW-User I know that is true. I paid my way through and set up college funds for my nephews and nieces. Unfortunately the money will only get them state school in state tuition for 3 years. I want to help more but I just can't. The 3 oldest are covered 100% but the younger ones. . . I can't believe the tuition increases.

@SW-User That's a great idea. Name all the treats after special groups or songs

@Fungirlmmm Luckily, my daughter earned a hefty scholarship from CSU, so I've been able to cover what's been left uncovered. My son is getting ready to transfer to a new college, and that's going to be tough. Tuitions are just insane anymore. Your nieces and nephews are lucky to have an aunt who's so willing to invest in them. That's really great that you're doing that.

@SW-User Even with scholarships it is tough.

@Fungirlmmm There's a sandwich shop around here that has their sandwiches named after different bands. I could see myself doing something like that only going somewhere far away from here to do it.

@Fungirlmmm When I was younger, I thought getting a scholarship meant that everything was covered. Um.....wrong. 😆

@SW-User Exactly.
