Do you have an easy or difficult time expressing your internal thoughts and feelings to others?

I honestly have a pretty hard time with it. For reasons relating to my childhood, constantly having been told to shut up and stop crying by my parents when I was young, I think. Lead to me becoming incredibly introverted and so opening up to me always tends to feel kind of weird. Like I'm imposing on others and will just get on their nerves talking about my personal bullshit.

It's difficult because I don't see situations as black and white, in opinions that have a range of factors it's hard to get it out to describe why you feel the way you do. That and a lot of misunderstandings happen because people like simple concepts and they tend to take meanings very literally. All of that makes it hard to talk to anybody about.

I don't mean to be mean, this sounds like an insult but it's not, a lot of people are illiterate so it's hard to talk to them. What I mean by illiterate, is that they can read but they don't have reading comprehension.

They can be able to tell what the words "dog" and "cat" means in a sense but let's say you had a deeper discussion, they'll misread what is being said, then you have to dumb yourself down just to talk to them.

In the end they still don't get it.
