Do you have an easy or difficult time expressing your internal thoughts and feelings to others?

I honestly have a pretty hard time with it. For reasons relating to my childhood, constantly having been told to shut up and stop crying by my parents when I was young, I think. Lead to me becoming incredibly introverted and so opening up to me always tends to feel kind of weird. Like I'm imposing on others and will just get on their nerves talking about my personal bullshit.

Its easier to talk about some things with some people than others sometimes

I think fear and feelings of other people's reactions being adverse to us is maybe what holds us back sometimes idk

If you're not used to someone being kind and considerate and accepting of whatever you have to say to them then you'll be hesitant to express whatever you think they might frown upon

馃槵 Gah I'm rambling redundantly

@SStarfish You're free to ramble here. And really it's all quite relevant to the subject at hand.

@UndeadPrivateer ok

I think when people have confidence that their words will be valued or if they are indifferent to nay sayings then they are immune to fear of expressing words that are meaningful to them like they are safe? :)

@SStarfish Confidence is, at least, an element of it for sure.

I think that the more positive of experiences a person has the more confidant they are :) that they will continue to have it :)

@SStarfish I agree with that wholeheartedly.
