Have you ever started what you intended to be a small project and it kinda... blew up?

As in became a lot bigger than initially intended. Not physically exploded. How do you usually react?

I started a little game design project I intended to be like a few dozen pages and it has quickly turned into what will likely be a full 200+ page rulebook with possible later further expansion pieces. Not even bothered or intimidated, just amused at myself for biting off so big a chunk of work on a whim. 😂 I think it's safe to say I have no shortage of ambition.
