What was your first car?

@Picklebobble2 ahhh the Capri! Fanny magnet! Lol, couldn't afford one. Had an Escort van for a while after my mini. It's use was very erm ... broad! Lol

The Mk 1 Capri i think had more filler than metal by the time i was done with it.
Nice engine. Reasonably comfortable. but for god's sake don't take roundabouts over 20 MPH in the wet ! 😱

@Picklebobble2 can't think of anything in those days that you couldn't watch rusting away in front of you while it rained lol, maybe the aluminium landrovers, but still the steel chassis. 😀

@SW-User Used to make me laugh how a lot of folk used to get the huge 3 Litre jobs.
Very snazzy looking but you always seemed to notice them rust from the bottom of the doors up !

@SW-User No they were round and on the left if i remember correctly with a rev. counter on the right.
Wicked little motor to drive though !
Only 1300 but it was pretty nippy !

@Picklebobble2 wow a rev counter! Lol. Dad had a fiat 127 I think it was, looked like a lada, that was like sht off a stick. He was sht at driving but loved the speed, we refused to go with him anywhere. I think he did it on purpose! Lol

@SW-User Weird thing about Fiat. They produce some of the ugliest looking motors anywhere i swear !!

Pal of mine bought a Strada and i always though it looked like a Renault 5 shunted at each end !! 😬

after that he bought a Supermirafiore. This from a country noted for it's ability to 'style' 😄
