Why cant people just be honest online?

Its difficult to share and trust when you can never be sure who is behind the screen.

There was a kid in school that was a compulsive liar. He wasn’t a bad guy, he just got used to making stuff up and that was who he became. People with red hair seem to be the biggest bullshitters
