What's the point of being nice when you keep getting shitted on?

Be nice but also don't be afraid to tear someone a new one. People have to see you have limits and boundaries.

Because you don't it only if you get it in return. You do it to be an individual, and you do it because it's right. To me, this is this the most rebellious thing someone can do against general society. Be nice, and resolutely be yourself, no matter what.
