What's the hottest weather you've ever experienced?

45 celcius for me.

@SW-User yes it was in Australia many years ago. But I have heard of much hotter weather than that in other countries.

@SW-User would be Greece in the late 80s around 40C. Interesting fact more Greeks died than British lobster red tourists!

@SW-User I suppose many kept working in the heat and got heat exhaustion, while the tourists swam in the pool and drank lots. Often the elderly die in extreme weather too.

@Travelbug theres a tribe somewhere, middle East maybe Africa they have evolved to cope really well in extreme heat, they harvest salt from dry salt beds in the desert, thier core body temperatures reach well above what an average person can survive, can't remember much detail. Amazing though.

@SW-User yes I've heard of them. There's the sea gypsies that literally live in the sea and can dive underwater for several minutes.
