@AliceTinker I never learned how and I just realized I called him my granddad but he was my great granddad - he raised my dad and all his siblings when my grandfather passed away while my dad and his siblings were still little
My great granddad died when I was 7 so I had 1 that I loved for many many years but then it vanished when my mom and her husband started moving around a lot. Since it wasn’t a keepsake from her family she didn’t care much when it got lost
