Why do some have so much more trouble than others trying to climb to the top?

well some people get a headstart, or better equipment. And quite a few people decide that isn't a direction they want to travel

Some of us don't want to suck dick to get to where we want to be. This reminds me of the 'me too' movement actresses shared their experiences over.

I feel hardwork is now seen or at least, evaluated less than the fact that we are giving jobs to unqualified friends/family.

It's a hell of a start for those friends/family, sure... nepotism doesn't really help out students, especially not when they've spent more time studying rather than building their contact list.

We don't want to step on the people around us to get there.

They don't - and I don't know anyone who does.
