Some matters are either black or white; how is one supposed to deal with something that is grey?

What I mean is something is either clear or unclear, it is easy to decide. But when something is between these two; what to do them?

Ah... the shades of grey scenario. Muddled thinking clouds action.

I've always found a defining question clears thinking. For me, it is simple. Before any action, before any decision, I ask:

"Is this in the best interests of my children...?"

Funny how everything just becomes crystal clear.
