@Anna1880 No they don't. That's just what religion wants you to believe, so you can pretend to have super powers. If you want something done, do it.

If you believe God exists, it helps but if you dont, it doesn't make a difference. You still live. It just power of belief. It helps to get on with your life little bit happier.

Having attachments and desires leads to disappointment anyway regardless of your beliefs. what you think is right is right.
