Yes, I did, only to have him suddenly turn cold as ice and act as though the last several months had never happened. It left me with a case of emotional whiplash.

@TeresaRudolph71 Did anything provoke it?

@SW-User Well, I think a couple of things. One, he had gotten what he had always wanted and probably had no more use for me. But also, in a moment of spite, because I was so hurt, I revealed something that I shouldn't have (something he had told me in confidence).

I deleted the comment, but it was too late, he had seen it, as had a few other people. I took it back, and did everything I could to make it up to him, and he eventually said he forgave me. And finally, weeks later, he did start talking to me again.

But then, after I asked him a question that made him uncomfortable (about what his intentions had been, because he had initially stopped talking to me a long time before I revealed that), he stopped talking to me again, and he said it was because he still couldn't forgive me. So I really think he's using that to make me feel like it's my fault. It's hard not to feel that way, but I don't think that's the real reason.

@SW-User Yeah, I want, more than anything, to get his friendship back, I just don't know how. :(
