I punched a guy while I was active duty Marine Corps. It was not my best moment but looking back it was probably the best thing I did in the long run. Some people only respect violence.

I wouldn't call them fights. Most instances were one on one type things where someone tried to throw a punch, I'd block it, then laugh at them. One incident where I was jumped by 4 guys on the subway (which was not a fight but an ass kicking, if I'd have lived anywhere else I could have had a gun, but oh well).
